The Maasai Mara National Reserve, located in the southwestern part of Kenya near the Tanzanian border, is a protected expanse of savannah wilderness. Within this reserve, you can encounter a diverse array of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, and hippos. Every year, wildebeest journey across its open plains as part of their annual migration. The terrain features vast grassy plains and undulating hills, with the Mara and Talek rivers meandering through the landscape. In the vicinity, you’ll also find Maasai villages (known as “enkangs”) scattered throughout the area.
Departure Time: Around 8.00 am from your hotel.
Travel: Fly from Diani or Mombasa to Masai Mara, arriving around 11.00 am.
Activities: Game drive en route to Olumara Safari Camp, check-in, and lunch.
Afternoon: Relax and then embark on an afternoon game drive until sunset.
Masai Mara National Reserve: Covers an area of 1,584 km2 and is one of the most famous and visited national reserves in Kenya. Physical attractions include Mara River, Talek River, Loita hills, Serengeti plains, and the annual wildebeest migration during July to September. The landscape is woodland and grassland savannah with acacia forests.
Wildlife: Masai Mara is famous for lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, gazelles, rhinos, hyenas, among others. It's also attractive for bird watchers and news analysts.
Dinner and Overnight: Olumara Safari Camp.
Morning: Wake up at 5.30 am for a cup of coffee followed by an early morning game drive.
Full Breakfast: Return to the camp for a full breakfast.
Morning Activities: Proceed for another game drive visiting Mara River for hippos, crocodiles, and the migration point of the wild beasts.
Option: There's another option of proceeding for a game drive with a packed lunch till evening.
Dinner and Overnight: Olumara Safari Camp.

There is no strict age limit, and children are welcome. However, please note that this tour involves wildlife encounters, and parental discretion is advised for young children.
The tour departs from your hotel in Diani or Mombasa. You will be picked up at around 8.00 am.
Game drives are conducted in 4x4 Jeeps, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable safari experience.

Yes, on Day 2, you'll have the opportunity to visit Mara River to see hippos, crocodiles, and witness the migration point of the wildebeests. Alternatively, you can choose a full-day game drive with a packed lunch.
On the final day, after an early morning game drive and breakfast, you'll be transferred to the airstrip for departure at 1.30 pm to Diani, arriving at around 4.00 pm.
Drinks, including sodas, beers, and wines at lodges or camps, are not included in the package and should be paid for separately.
